Confessions

The importance of your words cannot be overstressed. Your life and mine follows our confession. How we speak has a profound impact on ourselves, upon others and upon the environment around us. Have you ever had the experience where everything was fine until a negative person entered the room? Their presence and comments seemed to throw a wet blanket over the conversation. If we could see into the spiritual realm, we would see the powers of good and evil being impacted by the words we speak.

Consider these scriptures that talk about the importance of your words:

Matthew 12:36-37 “But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

Matthew 17:20 “So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Luke 12:8 "Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. “

Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Romans 10:10 “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

In this video blog, I teach on the THIRD ELEMENT OF FAITH – CONFESSION! Along with these and other scriptures, I talk about why many of us learn to speak so negatively along with how we can turn our lives around by aligning our language with the Bible, creating positive change. At the conclusion of teaching, I give several Biblical confessions that you can make that will change your life – so watch it all the way through.

Let’s change our lives together!
