Today I got a call completely out of the blue with a job offer that I have neither applied for nor heard of. Now, I already have a job but being as this is such a great opportunity (intern at an accounting firm) I jumped at the chance. It is so nice to be blessed going in, and blessed going out!

DEFINE YOURSELF BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE DOES!

The word confession is an important word in the Bible. It is the Greek word homologéō. It is a compound word combining homoú, "together" and légō, "speak to a conclusion." Thus, when this word is used in scripture, it means to say about ourselves what God says about us. For instance, in Hebrews 4:14 it says “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.” So extending this verse to include our definition of homologéō, it would read like this..

PUTTING THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE

I think she became the poster mom of the year.  Do you remember it?  During the Baltimore riots, a mom broke out from the crowd after recognizing her 16-year-old son as one of the rioters.  Ripping his hoodie and mask off, she proceeded to give him some love and discipline the old fashion way!  She smacked him around for a few times and told him to go home.
